About MiddleMatic
MiddleMatic ("MiddleMatic," "we," or "our") provides marketing automation tools, communication services, workflow management features, list organization, and related technology to our customers. Most MiddleMatic users are businesses, ministries, organizations, and creators who upload and manage their own contact lists in order to send emails, automate marketing activities, and track engagement.
MiddleMatic processes contact data only on behalf of the customer who uploads or maintains that information. We do not have a direct relationship with individuals who receive emails through our system ("Contacts" or "you"). All communications sent through MiddleMatic are initiated and controlled by the customer who owns the list.
We require that all customers use MiddleMatic for permission-based marketing and follow all applicable laws, including our Acceptable Use & Anti-Spam Policies. If you believe you received unauthorized or unwanted email sent through MiddleMatic, please report it to:
Collection of Contact Data
1. Contact Data Provided by Our Customers
Our customers upload and maintain their own contact lists, which may include:
- Email addresses
- Names
- Phone numbers
- Demographic details
- Purchase or engagement histories
- Subscription preferences
- Notes or categories applied by the customer
✓ MiddleMatic does not share or sell customer-uploaded contact lists.
✓ MiddleMatic does not send communications to customer contacts for our own marketing.
Customers are responsible for ensuring they have permission and lawful basis to upload and use contact data. MiddleMatic only processes this data at the direction of the customer.
2. Contact Data Provided by You
MiddleMatic may receive your contact information if:
- You sign up through a customer's email form
- You register for an event or download offered by a customer
- You fill out a form powered by MiddleMatic
- You interact with an email delivered via MiddleMatic technology
When you interact with an email or form, MiddleMatic processes that activity for the customer who sent it. If you have questions or want to change your data, the correct contact is the sender of the message, not MiddleMatic.
Tracking, Analytics & Technical Data
Emails sent through MiddleMatic may include standard email-marketing analytics tools such as:
- Open tracking
- Click tracking
- Delivery status
- Link interaction reporting
- Unsubscribe activity
- Basic geographic region (derived from IP when allowed)
We may also collect non-identifying technical information such as:
- IP address
- Browser type
- Operating system
- Device type
- Activity on customer landing pages powered by MiddleMatic
This information is provided to the customer so they can improve their communication relevance and performance.
You may disable images or choose "text-only" email in your email settings to reduce or block tracking functionality.
Use and Sharing of Contact Data
MiddleMatic uses contact data only to:
- Deliver emails and automations on behalf of customers
- Provide analytics and reporting back to the customer
- Maintain platform functionality and security
- Improve service performance and reliability
MiddleMatic will not email customer contact lists for our own promotional purposes.
We may share limited information with carefully vetted service providers who help us operate and improve the platform (such as hosting providers or analytics infrastructure). These partners are required to handle data securely and only according to MiddleMatic's instructions.
We may disclose information when required by law or valid legal process.
Contact Targeting & Enrichment (Optional Customer Features)
MiddleMatic offers optional features that allow customers to filter, segment, or enrich their contact lists. Depending on your region and applicable laws, this may include:
- Demographic information
- Purchase history
- Interaction behavior
- Engagement scoring
- Geolocation or time-zone data
Customers control whether these features are enabled. MiddleMatic requires customers to comply with privacy laws when using such features.
If you want to know how the sender uses your data or to request changes, please contact the sender directly.
Choice / Opt-Out
All emails sent through MiddleMatic include an easy, one-click unsubscribe link that allows you to stop receiving marketing messages from that specific sender.
Some customers also allow you to update your preferences or select topics of interest using a profile or subscription settings page.
If you believe you received an unwanted or unsolicited message, please forward the message to:
Include a brief description of the issue so we can investigate.
Requests About Your Personal Information
MiddleMatic is a service provider / data processor, not the owner of customer contact lists. We store and process data only on behalf of our customers.
Because the customer controls your data, requests such as:
- Access to your information
- Updates or corrections
- Deletion requests
- Subscription changes
- Opt-outs
…must be made directly to the sender of the communication you received.
If the customer needs support from MiddleMatic to fulfill a privacy request, we will assist them as required by applicable privacy laws.
International Data Practices
MiddleMatic stores and processes data primarily in the United States. Some service providers may be located in other regions, and data may be transferred pursuant to appropriate legal safeguards.
MiddleMatic maintains commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect contact data.
